About the Founder

Abdulla Al Gurg is a visionary business leader with over two decades of experience in diverse industries. As the Chairman of Abdulla AL Gurg Global Investments (AGGI), a prominent corporate entity based in Dubai, UAE, he oversees a global portfolio spanning multiple sectors.
A member of a well-established business family in the UAE, Abdulla’s interest in business and entrepreneurship began at an early age. He completed his Master’s in Business Management from Regis University in Colorado, USA, before embarking on his career with Dubai Holding. There, he held the position of Executive Project Director for the “Tiger Woods Dubai Golf Community,” where he demonstrated his leadership in large-scale project management.
In 2020, Abdulla founded AGGI, with the vision of building a diversified global enterprise. Under his leadership, AGGI has seen exponential growth, expanding across several key sectors such as hospitality, life sciences, healthcare, oil & gas, gold & precious metals, real estate, and esports, both within the UAE and internationally.
Abdulla’s previous role as CEO and Board Member at Easa Saleh Al Gurg (ESAG) was instrumental in shaping his expertise in private investments and strategic business expansion. He played a key role in expanding ESAG’s footprint across the GCC, notably in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Iraq. During his tenure, Abdulla spearheaded the implementation of advanced technologies to streamline business processes and strengthened the supply chain, positioned ESAG as a leader in its sector. He also led
numerous joint ventures, establishing strong partnerships that contributed to the company’s sustained success.
In 2022, Abdulla took another significant step in his career by founding The Omère Foundation alongside The Omère Institute, an innovative wellness clinic in Switzerland dedicated to advancing research in modern medicine. The foundation’s mission is to explore and support transformative healthcare solutions with the potential to reshape the global healthcare landscape.
Abdulla’s professional pursuits extend beyond business. A passionate artist and collector, he has a keen eye for bespoke art and rare collectibles, with an impressive portfolio that reflects his love for fine arts. He is also deeply committed to philanthropy, contributing generously to causes he holds dear. His
efforts in supporting charitable organizations have been recognized globally, and in 2012, he was honored as the Lloyds TSB Torchbearer for the London Olympic Torch Relay, in recognition of his philanthropic contributions.
